Even when business slows down, retaining talented employees is a challenge. There are many reasons that employees jump ship, and high among them is a perceived lack of opportunities to advance one's career.
One way to counteract dissatisfaction along those lines is to provide a solid education and training program. Not only are these programs strong retention tools, but they are also a good way to increase overall organizational excellence and performance.
